Mary Washington Healthcare is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible General Gastroenterologist to join a high-volume, well-supported GI practice in Fredericksburg and Stafford, Virginia.Position Highlights- Hybrid inpatient/outpatient role
- Procedure-heavy practice (~75% procedures / 25% clinic)
- Majority outpatient with minimal inpatient responsibilities
- Supported by GI hospitalists, APPs, fellows, and residents
- Perform EGD, colonoscopy, and endoscopic procedures
- Procedures at 3 sites: Stafford Hospital, Mary Washington Hospital, Central Park ASC
- Clinic locations in Fredericksburg & Stafford, VA
- Advanced technology: GI Genius™, Olympus scopes, Epic EMR
- Dedicated anesthesia and experienced endoscopy staff
- 4 clinical days + 1 admin day (Mon–Fri)
- Typical hours: 7:30am – 5:00pm
- Shared call (~1:10), ~5 weeks/year
- Light call burden with fellows assisting
- Join 11 Gastroenterologists and 10 APPs GI Fellowship launching in 2026
- Opportunities for subspecialty development (IBD, hepatology, advanced endoscopy)
- Potential for ASC ownership / buy-in
