Cross-training opportunities to energize your career.
Beautiful campus to quiet your soul.
Technically, we're the Respiratory Therapy Department, but our evidence-based protocols are utilized throughout the hospital.
Our talented team of respiratory professionals maintains vital relationships with physicians and nurses in NICU, pediatrics, emergency medicine, critical care, ICU, neurodiagnostic imaging, sleep disorders, and more. We are thrilled to be part of the continued growth of our ICU, including Level-II trauma designation.
We believe that sharing our knowledge with other specialists is great for patients and Associates alike. You'll find unique cross training opportunities in EKG, phlebotomy, IV therapy, and more. You'll participate in multidisciplinary rounds with pharmacists, physical therapists, and others. And you'll become a key decision maker regarding new protocols and procedures.
Sleep Disorders
With two distinct observation units, our Sleep and Wake Disorders Center is staffed with highly credentialed professionals who provide a wide range of sleep-related testing and monitoring using Sandman sleep systems for acquisition of PSG, CPAP titrations, split-night, MSLT, and MWT studies.
Neurodiagnostics
Our facility provides inpatient and outpatient electroneurodiagnostic testing and monitoring to an array of patients using Nihon Kohden multi-systems. We provide EEGs, ambulatory EEGs, video EEGs, and EP studies.
Our team leadership program makes sure everyone feels supported, workflow is smooth, and patient care is at its very best. You'll even find commuters who make a special trip south—not north—to practice at Mary Washington Healthcare. Why? Again and again, you'll hear "It's the people I work with."
